Four-fifths (81%) of respondents stated that they were satisfied with the state of the environment in the Czech Republic, 5% were very satisfied. When asked about satisfaction with the state of the environment in their place of residence, the proportion of satisfied responses was 2 percentage points higher, at 83%, 17% were very satisfied.
Compared with the previous survey in 2025, there has been virtually no change in the level of satisfaction.
Respondents are most satisfied with the quality of drinking water, access to the countryside (both 87%) and the cleanliness of the surrounding countryside (81%). Conversely, respondents are least satisfied with the volume of road traffic (46%).
Compared with the previous survey in 2025, there has been virtually no change in satisfaction levels; only in the case of groundwater and surface water supplies has there been a 6 percentage point decline in satisfaction.
