In december survey CVVM focused on people's fears. Two thirds of informants admitted that they were afraid of something. The most frequent were a fear of unemployment (32 %), a disease (23 %) and fall of living standard (17 %).

optimistic about their own future (65 %) but only 44 % of informants were optimistic about the czech society and even less of them were optimistic about the future of the humankind (37 %)
