Political Situation

In summer 2024 survey the Public Opinion Research Center examined how the inhabitants of the Czech Republic assess the political culture of public officials and politicians: deputies, senators, representatives of regional and local self-governments and politicians from current parliamentary political parties.

In the autumn of 2023, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in 29 selected areas of public life.

In the end of 2022, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in 30 selected areas of public life.

The best evaluated areas are the selection of goods and services (70% satisfied) and culture (67%). The worst evaluated items are corruption (72% dissatisfied), and public finances (73%).

In June 2021, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in 30 selected areas of public life.

The best evaluated areas are the selection of goods and services (70% satisfied), healthcare and transport services (both 52%). The worst evaluated items are corruption (65% dissatisfied), political situation (59%), public finances (56%), and economic crime (55%).
