According to Decenber survey of CVVM, 43% of Czechs evaluate the living standard of their household as good, 17% consider it to be bad, and 40% characterize it as neither good, nor bad.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in January 2011

In January 2011 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.

As a part of the CVVM surveys there is a question about public satisfaction with current political situation in the Czech Republic.

Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic - December 2010

According to the December survey of CVVM, 61% of people evaluates the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as poor, 28% view it as neither good nor bad and 10% consider it to be good.

Expectations for the Future and Fears of the Czech Public - December 2010

In December 2010, the CVVM survey focused on people's fears. Almost three fifths (59 %) of Czechs admitted that they were afraid of something. The most frequent were fear of unemployment, of fall of living standard and of a disease. Other questions concerned about the future of the personal life of citizens, the future of the Czech society and the future of the whole humankind. The majority was optimistic about their own future (69 %), but only 42 % of informants were optimistic about the Czech society and even less of them were optimistic about the future of the humankind (38 %).

Relationship of Czechs to Other Nationalities - December 2010

In December survey the CVVM focused on Czech relationship to other nations and nationalities. Respondents were shown a list with 24 nationalities and they were asked to evaluate these nationalities with marks from 1 to 7 according to their sympathies for these nationalities (1 – very sympathetic and 7-very unsympathetic).

Party Preferences and Voting Model in January 2011

In January survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.
