The research project "Beer and Pubs in Czech society" has been implemented by the CVVM SOÚ AV ČR continuously since 2004. This text provides basic information on the trends about the share of beer consumers among the adult population of the Czech Republic and the quantity and frequency with which they drink beer, and also notes the position of non-alcoholic beer and its development in recent years.
It also looks at the circumstances under which people drink beer, including changes between the pre- and post-C19 pandemic periods, and shows the evolution of attitudes to the Czech world primacy in beer consumption.
