In January 2009 survey CVVM investigated on the conflict in the Gaza strip. 40 % of respondents considered the responsibility for the conflict to be equal for both sides. Palestinians were marked as a main offender by 17 % and Israel by 10 % of informants.
Israeli military operations in Gaza were supported by 18 % of informants, 46 % were against and 36 % didn't know.
