Czech Republic’s Membership in the European Union in the Public View – April/May 2023

The press release presents some results of the April and May 2023 survey, which focused on Czech public opinion on EU membership. More than two-fifths (41%) of Czech citizens are satisfied with our country's EU membership, more than a fifth (21 %) are neither satisfied nor unsatisfied and more than a third (36 %) is unsatisfied.
Respondents were also asked about their views on economic, political, cultural, defence, and ecological integration in the European Union.

The survey also focused on opinion to the level of integration of the EU and the role of the Czech Republic in this process. The part of this survey was also a question about the adoption of the euro.
