In its regular survey in March 2013 the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the questions about the Vaclav Klaus' presidency. Most Czechs think president Klaus is good in taking care of dignity and respect of his office (64 %) and he fulfills his constitutional functions (60 %).
More critic are Czechs to the president‘s influence on political events in the Czech Republic, only 39 % find it „very good“ or „somewhat good“. Also the president's contact with citizens and his awareness of their problems is perceived rather bad, only 21 % of people think president's performance in this particular area is good.
