In September survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre investigated whether the interviewed people confide in selected politicians. This time the submitted list included the names of 26 representatives of the parties present in the Chamber of Deputies. The respondents expressed the highest level of confidence in prime minister Jiří Paroubek (53%), second place got 1.vice-chairman of ČSSD and minister of Finance Bohuslav Sobotka (40%).
They are folllowed by ODS politicians: chairman Mirek Topolánek, chief magistrate of Prague Pavel Bém (33%, 32 %). Almost a third of citizens expressed their trust in Foreing minister Cyril Svoboda and Chairman of Chamber of Deputies Lubomír Zaorálek (both 31 %). Vice-chairman of Chamber of Deputies and vice-chairman of ODS Ivan Langer enjoys trust expressed by 29 % of respondents and minister of Defence Karel Kűhnl is found trustworthy by 27 %. A quarter of respondents trust in these: 1 vice-chairman of ODS Petr Nečas(26 %), vice-chairwoman of Chamber of Deputies and vice-chairwoman of ODS Miroslava Němcová (25%), minister of Transport Šimonovský (25%), and 1.vice-chairman of KDU-ČSL Jan Kasal (24%). In comparism to results of previous surveys popularity of chairman of KSČM Grebeníček droped.(-5% points). On contrary popularity of prime minister Paroubek has risen for 16 % points, popularity of B.Sobotka (+7%), M.Šimonovský (+6%), C.Svoboda (+4%), P.Němec (+4%), chairman of Chamber of Deputies (6%).
