In a survey conducted in the period since middle of May to the beginning of July 2022 the Public Opinion Research Centre examined two questions related to evaluation of material living conditions of respondent's households, and to expectation of development of these conditions in this year.
A half (51%) of Czechs evaluates material living conditions of their households as good, 37% think they are neither good, nor bad, and 11% consider them to be bad.
Half (50%) of Czechs believe that this year the material living conditions of their households will worsen, a little more than a tenth (12%) expect an improvement, and more than a third (37%) assume that they will not change. Expectations have worsened significantly compared to last year.
