In the spring of 2026, the military (71%) and the Czech Police (70%) enjoyed the highest levels of trust. Nearly three-quarters of citizens also trust election results (73%),
People trust social media the least (6%) and political parties and movements the least (9%).
A more pronounced predominance of trust over distrust is also evident in the case of banks, courts, and public opinion polls. A smaller surplus of trust was recorded for public media, non-profit organizations, and trade unions.
Distrust significantly outweighs trust when it comes to churches and private media.
Due to a change in the CVVM’s research methodology, the results of this survey are not directly comparable with the results of previous surveys conducted up to 2024.
