The majority of seven tenths of Czech citizens consider what the Czech state has done against the spread of coronavirus to be appropriate, and half consider measures to support the economy to be appropriate.

The work of most institutions and groups in relation to the spread of coronavirus is assessed favorably, with criticism prevailing in relation to the EU and the WHO.

In March, the Public Opinion Research Centre examined how citizens of the Czech Republic look at different situations that may be a reason for resignation of a public official or a politician from his post.

In March 2020 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to decision-making of politicians. Czech public evaluated the level of influence of chosen areas and institutions on decisions of Czech politicians.

In the March survey CVVM enquired how strictly according to public should be judged morality of politicians and what criteria should be considered in their deliberations. CVVM also focused on attitudes of Czech citizens to disputes, problems and affairs which appear in our political and public life. In this case, respondents were presented with a list of statements with which they expressed their agreement or disagreement.

In March of this year, respondents of the Public Opinion Research Centre evaluated the urgency of solving in some areas of public life. The most urgent problems are supposed to be corruption, economic crime and health care.

In February 2020, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in 29 selected areas of public life.

The best evaluated areas are the selection of goods and services (75% satisfied), culture (66%), unemployment (52%). The worst evaluated items are corruption (67% dissatisfied), economic crime (55%), and immigration (47%).

In March 2020 as a part of Public Opinion Research Centre's survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to some social institutions.

In March survey the Public Opinion Research Center examined how the inhabitants of the Czech Republic assess the political culture of public officials and politicians: members of the governments, deputies, senators, representatives of regional and local self-governments and politicians from current parliamentary political parties.

In March 2020 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in March 2020, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release, there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

The likely voter model indicates the anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.
