In September 2014 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004. This press release maps basic trends about the share of consumers among Czech citizens and about both amount and frequency of beer consumption from 2004 to 2014. The status of non-alcoholic beer as well as attitudes towards the fact of the highest beer per capita consumption in the Czech Republic are mentioned.

In September 2014 the Public Opinion Research Centre examined views of the Czech public on the creation of special schools in compulsory nine-year basic education and views on whether the children with physical or mental disabilities, children from poor or vice versa from wealthy families, children of foreign nationals, Roma children and gifted children should be educated in mainstream classes.

In the October survey the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

In September 2014 was as a part of regular CVVM survey a block of questions related to the Czech education. Questions examined the Czech public opinions towards quality of education in different types of school and what school should provided to be considered as a good one.

In September 2014 the Public Opinion research Centre surveyed how Czech citizens evaluate opportunities to get an education appropriate to the individual abilities and what do they think about the issue of tuition fees at universities.

June survey of Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the matter of values and their importance for Czech people.

In the June survey Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

In June 2014, CVVM survey posed a question regarding the social acceptance of homosexuality. Other questions examined public opinion on particular rights of gays and lesbians such as the right for registered partnership, the right to get married and the right for children adoption.

In June within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the HIV/AIDS issue. The majority (83%) of the Czech Republic population representatives state that they are not afraid of HIV/AIDS infection but 73% of them perceive the disease as a current problem. Fifty five percent of them believe the relevant institutions are engaged in HIV/AIDS issues adequately.

In June 2014 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on issues that could be perceived as morally controversial. Specifically, representatively selected part of population of the Czech Republic answered questions concerned with the interruption, euthanasia and penalty of death.
