Popularity of Top Politicians - April 2017

In April 2017 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 29 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, the governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.

Evaluation of Bohuslav Sobotka's Cabinet - February 2017

In February survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on evaluation of Bohuslav Sobotka's government. 32% of Czechs are satisfied with the person of Prime Minister, 58% are dissatisfied, 31% are satisfied with government's performance and 58% are not. Government's program 36% of Czechs evaluate positively, 38% hold the opposite stance. Communication with public (30% satisfied / 59% dissatisfied) and personal composition of Sobotka's government (25% satisfied / 63% dissatisfied) are areas in which predominantly critical evaluation of public.

Attitude of Citizens about presidency in the Czech Republic – January 2017

Citizens on Constitutional Competencies of a President - January 2017

January survey made an inquiry into attitudes of citizens towards constitutional competencies of a president. Questions in the survey concerned the range of presidential competencies in general and also with regard to several particular competencies such as granting of amnesty or stopping a lawsuit, dismissing the Chamber of Deputies and refusing the law passed by the parliament.

Confidence in some institutions - December 2016

In December 2016 within the regular survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre (CVVM) questioned respondents about their confidence in some institutions including the Ombudsman, the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Audit Office, the Czech Statistical Office, the Czech National Bank, and the Office for Personal Data Protection.
