In November 2015 the Public Opinion Research Centre included into its regular survey a few questions concerning so-called Islamic State.

In October and November 2015 surveys of Public Opinion Research Centre focused on attitudes of the public towards accepting  refugees from countries affected by military conflicts, perception of the situation as a security threat and evaluation of the current activities of various groups in the conflict and about. In November 2015 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, President, Government, Local and Regional Councils.

October survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre examined general political orientation of citizens.

In November survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in  elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

Voting model indicate anticipated result of elections to Chamber of Deputies in the time of the survey. Voting model comes out of Party preferences but it includes only those who want to take part in elections and they answered us a Party they would vote for – in short this group does not include undecided people and non – voters.

In October 2015 as a part of Public Opinion Research Centre's survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to the selected social institutions. Confidence significantly prevails in the case of army, police, radio, courts and the Internet.

On the occasion of coming anniversary, Public Opinion Research Centre investigated public opinion regarding the Velvet Revolution and its consequences to different areas of life in the Czech Republic. >> Full text is available in Czech only <<

According to the survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre, 39 % of Czech citizens are interested in current events in Ukraine. Respondents were also asked about their perception of the situation as a security threat, of the current activities of various groups in the conflict and about active participation of international community in solving the situation. In October 2015 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 27 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of Parliament, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, leaders of political parties in Parliament and chief of Constitutional Court.
