In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in February 2020, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release, there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

In its January survey the Public Opinion Research Center included a set of questions concerning the attitudes of Czech citizens to demonstrations in general and then specifically to demonstrations organized by the Million Moments for Democracy.
Citizens on Material Living Conditions of Their Households - January 2020
In the January 2020 survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined two questions related to evaluation of material living conditions of respondent's households, and to expectation of development of these conditions in this year.
More than one half (55%) of Czechs evaluates material living conditions of their households as good, 12% consider them to be bad, and 33% think they are "neither good, nor bad".
54% of Czechs expect no change of their current material living conditions, according to 19% they will improve, and 24% think that material living conditions of their households will worsen in this year.
Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households - January 2020
According to the January 2020 survey of CVVM, 51% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 35% view it as neither good nor bad, and 13% consider it to be bad.
13% of citizens think that the economic situation will improve in this year, 48% expect no change, and 34% await worsening of economic situation.
57% of Czechs evaluate the living standard of their household as good, 10% consider it to be bad, and 33% characterize it as neither good, nor bad.
Citizens on Constitutional Competencies of a President - January 2020
January survey made an inquiry into attitudes of citizens towards constitutional competencies of a president. Questions in the survey concerned the range of presidential competencies in general and also with regard to several particular competencies such as granting of amnesty or stopping a lawsuit, dismissing the Chamber of Deputies and refusing the law passed by the parliament.
Attitudes of Citizens to the Presidential Office – January 2020
January survey of CVVM asked questions regarding the attitudes towards the office of president of the Czech Republic. Questions focused on the mechanism of presidential election, president's relation to the government and government appointment, on the position of president in the foreign policy and on the problems president should pay attention in his or her office.
Public Opinion on Performance of President Miloš Zeman - January 2020
In its regular survey in January 2020 the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on questions about the Miloš Zeman's presidency. Most Czechs think that president Zeman is in contact with people and knows their problems (59%) and fulfills his constitutional functions (55%).
Popularity of Party Representatives - January 2020
In January 2020 the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology the Czech Academy of Sciences investigated whether respondents trust to selected politicians. They were given a list with 20 names of top politicians who represent political parties present in the Chamber of Deputies.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in January 2020
In January 2020 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.
Likely voter model in January 2020
In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in January 2020, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release, there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.
The likely voter model indicates the anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.
The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

Attitudes toward retirement system of the Czech Republic – December 2019 2018
In November, the Public Opinion Research Centre asked a set of questions related to attitudes of the Czech citizens towards the retirement system in the Czech Republic.
Questions focused mainly on the current condition of the retirement system and its possible changes. Respondents also expressed level of their support for concrete measures and actions within the retirement system. The last question focused on the opinion whether the received finances from the social security system can cover funding of the pensions.
