Evaluation of Andrej Babis' Cabinet - February 2020

In February survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on evaluation of Andrej Babis' government.

42% of Czechs are satisfied with the person of Prime Minister, 52% are dissatisfied, 44% are satisfied with government's performance and 51% are not.
Government's program 48% of Czechs evaluate positively, 37% hold the opposite stance.

Communication with public is seen positively by 47% of Czechs, 46% evaluate it negatively.

Personal composition of Babis' government (36% satisfied / 56% dissatisfied) is area in which we found the most critical evaluation of public.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in February 2020

In February 2020 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

Public Opinion on Acceptability of Loans and Debts - January 2020

In January 2020 Public Opinion Research Centre carried out a survey about debts and loans. In this press release are published attitudes of Czech citizens to debts of common people. In this text there are also published attitudes of Czechs to individual debts, e.g. acceptability of loans for real estate, education, consumption, car, holidays or for starting a business. Another question was focused on importance of financial resources for unexpected expenses and difficulties with the repayment of debts.

Opinion on the Indebtment of Citizens and the State - January 2020

In January 2020, the Public Opinion Research Centre investigated views on the problem of indebtment. We surveyed the opinion on the level of indebtment among the Czech citizens and on the level of indebtment of the Czech state. With regard to these two fields of indebtment, we also asked questions about how serious a problem the current level of indebtment poses to the Czech people.

Inflation And Real Income Of Households In View Of Public - January 2020

In the January 2020 survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined three questions related to Inflation And Real Income Of Households.

44 % of people believe that for the income of their household they can buy or pay less than a year ago, 43 % believe that the real income of their households is about the same as a year before, and 12% of respondents said that their real income during the last year has increased.

47% of Czech citizens consider current inflation to be acceptable, 38% of people share the opposite opinion.

64% of Czechs expect that this year they will be able to buy less goods and pay less services for the same amount of money than the last year.

Citizens on Material Living Conditions of Their Households - January 2020

In the January 2020 survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined two questions related to evaluation of material living conditions of respondent's households, and to expectation of development of these conditions in this year.

More than one half (55%) of Czechs evaluates material living conditions of their households as good, 12% consider them to be bad, and 33% think they are "neither good, nor bad".

54% of Czechs expect no change of their current material living conditions, according to 19% they will improve, and 24% think that material living conditions of their households will worsen in this year.

Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households - January 2020

According to the January 2020 survey of CVVM, 51% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 35% view it as neither good nor bad, and 13% consider it to be bad.

13% of citizens think that the economic situation will improve in this year, 48% expect no change, and 34% await worsening of economic situation.

57% of Czechs evaluate the living standard of their household as good, 10% consider it to be bad, and 33% characterize it as neither good, nor bad.

Citizens on Constitutional Competencies of a President - January 2020

January survey made an inquiry into attitudes of citizens towards constitutional competencies of a president. Questions in the survey concerned the range of presidential competencies in general and also with regard to several particular competencies such as granting of amnesty or stopping a lawsuit, dismissing the Chamber of Deputies and refusing the law passed by the parliament.
