Men´s and women´s roles
November survey CVVM investigated public opinions about division of men´s and women´s roles in families. As in survey 2006, both partners should share worries about education, budget, hobbies and contacts. Career building is supposed to belong to men´s activities or activities of both partners, but mainly it should belong to a men´s role. On the other hand cooking is considered as women´s domain.
Attitude of Czechs towards public holidays
CVVM SOÚ AV ČR in October 2007 probed, what is the attitude of Czech citizens towards public holidays. Most of the Czechs (more than three fourths) believe that it is important to remind of their signification. This press release also contains summary of public holidays which are celebrated by Czechs and which not.
Citizens about living together with Romany population and their chances at society
Public attitudes to Romany minority and public opinions on chances of Romanies to assert themselves in society were investigated by Centre for Public Opinion Research in May 2007. CVVM also focused on topic such as respondents´ opinions on living together of Romany and non-Romany populations in the Czech Republic as well as at the place they live, if respondents have such an experience. Then respondents had to compare chances of Romany and non-Romany citizens in some areas of public life: getting qualification, access to housing, education, personal security and development of their own culture.
Public Attitude to Death Penalty
In May survey Centre for Public Opinion Research SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., asked respondents about their attitude to Death penalty. As a part of this press information the answers of respondents are sorted according to socio-demographic indicators a there is also time comparison with results from previous results, because this question has been a part of continual CVVM surveys since 1992.

Public opinion about foeticide and euthanasia
In May survey Public Opinion Research Center focused on public opinions of women´s right to decide herself to end her pregnancy. Within the survey people also have been expressing their sentiment about acceptability or unacceptability of euthanasia. As a part of this press information there were answers sorted according to socio-demographic indicators and table with data from previous surveys.

Czech citizens´ attitude to rights of homosexual couples
In May survey CVVM focused on public opinions of rights of gays and lesbians such as right to get married, right for registered partnership and right for children adoption. As a part of this press information there were answers sorted according to socio-demographic indicators and according to answer on a question whether a respondent knows a gay or a lesbian personally.

Citizens about foreigners in the Czech Republic II.
As a part of May survey realized by CVVM SOÚ, v.v.i. there were some questions asking Czech public about their attitude to foreigners and nationalities living in the Czech Republic. CVVM investigated how respondents agree with different reasons concerning acceptance of immigrants and they were questioned about their attitude to employment of foreigners. Addressed citizens were also asked to evaluate their relationship with some nationalities that have strong representation in the Czech Republic.

In May survey CVVM investigated public opinion of number of foreigners living in the Czech Republic and whether foreigners should have chance to live in this country in the long term and how they should accustom to our living conditions. As a part of the press information there is a list of answers sorted according to socio-demographic characteristics of population sample and according to answers of a question whether a respondent knows any foreigner personally.
What Is Morally Acceptable For Us And What Is Not?
Within the March survey people have been expressing their sentiment about moral acceptability or unacceptability of some kinds of human actions and behaviour. The survey included 25 items representing different deeds which the respondents evaluated within the ten-point scale where 1 meant "never acceptable" and 10 "always acceptable".
What about Czechs and toleration?
In March 2007 CVVM used some questions focused on public tolerance to some groups of people. Czechs were show a list of 14 groups of people and they had to say, whether they would not want these people as their neighbours. Negative attitude to neighbourhood of four groups was expressed by Czech people. These groups consist of drug addicts, 87 % of Czech would not want them to be their neighbours. Four fifths of Czech citizens (81 %) would not like to live close to alcoholics and 77 % of Czechs would not want people with criminal past in their neighbourhood.
