Voter preferences to the European Parliament in February 2019

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in February 2019, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the European Parliament. In the press release there are two different types of information: the voter preferences and the party preferences.

The voter preferences include only the views of those people who are likely to vote, while people who do not yet know how they will vote have their own category here.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

Likely voter model in February 2019

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in February 2019, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

The likely voter model indicates anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

Popularity of Top Politicians - January 2019

In January 2019 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 30 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.

Confidence in Some Representatives in International Context - December 2018

December 2018 survey focused on attitudes of Czechs to some representatives in international politics. Respondents were asked to express their confidence or non-confidence in some main figures of international policy and persons involved in recent important events as well as supreme representatives of Central European countries.

Public Opinion on Performance of President Miloš Zeman - January 2019

In its regular survey in January 2019 the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on questions about the Miloš Zeman's presidency. Most Czechs think that president Zeman is in contact with people and knows their problems (62%) and fulfills his constitutional functions (61%).

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in January 2019

In January 2019 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.
