In January 2011 the CVVM regular survey included a block of questions related to NATO and national defence. There was examined opinion on the current need for NATO as a military-political organization and how the existence and actions of NATO influences the safety of members, the relationships within and outside the organization, peace and stability and ability to address the threat of terrorism.

As a part of February survey made by CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i. there were some questions about respondents´ opinions of form of political system.
Evaluations in the areas of public life - February 2011
In January and February this year, respondents of the Public Opinion Research Centre evaluated the state of some areas of public life. People were the most satisfied with supply of goods and services (65 % "satisfied"), culture (60 % "satisfied") and membership in the European Union (53 % "satisfied"). Dissatisfaction was related mainly to health service (79 % "dissatisfied"), corruption (74 % "dissatisfied") and unemployment (72 % "dissatisfied").
Evaluation of Petr Nečas's Cabinet - February 2011
In February survey, CVVM focused on evaluation of Petr Nečas's government. 33 % of Czechs are satisfied with the person of Prime Minister, 56 % are dissatisfied, 26 % are satisfied with government's performance and 66 % are not. Also government's program (35 % / 51 %) as well as communication with public (25 % / 66 %) is evaluated predominantly negatively. 71 % of respondents see negatively also a personal composition of Nečas's government, 19 % expressed opposite feeling in this matter.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in February 2011
In February 2011 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.
As a part of the CVVM surveys there is a question about public satisfaction with current political situation in the Czech Republic.
Party Preferences and Voting Model in February 2011
In February survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

In January this year, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in selected areas of public life, and tried to anticipate future developments in these areas.
