In February 2010 Public Opinion Research Centre studied trust of the Czech population in the selected international organizations - the European Union, NATO and the United Nations. Another question was focused on satisfaction with membership in these institutions.

In February 2010, in the research project Our Society there were included questions focused on opinion of Czech people about the reasons for entering public life and politicians' interest in opinion of ordinary citizens.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in April 2010

In April 2010 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.

One of the topics included in the April survey of the Center for Public Opinion Research, was the European Union. Specifically the satisfaction of citizens with the membership, whether the membership is seen as a good thing for the CR, sense of civic pride and a sense of belonging to the EU. The survey studied also the development of living standards in the context of EU accession and views on adopting the euro as the currency of the Czech Republic.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in April 2010

In April 2010 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.

As a part of the CVVM surveys there is a question about public satisfaction with current political situation in the Czech Republic.

In April survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information : Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

In March, the Centre for Public Opinion Research also investigated how Czech citizens evaluate the political culture of publicly-employed people.

In the March survey CVVM researched what the public thinks about corruption among public officials.

In March, the survey of CVVM was paid to influence on political decision making. Furthermore CVVM searched what criteria should be established for morality of politician.

As a part of March CVVM survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to Courts, Police, Army, Media, Labour Unions, Churches, Banks and NGOs. The press information covers also a longterm development of trust to these public institutions since 1993.
