In June survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre, citizens answered questions concerning their fears, their sense of security and their satisfaction with the activities of the police.
Security Threats for the Czech Republic in View of Public - June 2021
In November 2021, respondents had to assess security threats related to selected groups in the Czech Republic and they were also expressing views on threats by war, epidemics, natural disasters, economic crisis or resource crisis. These two questions were amended with an open question trying to find out, which countries represent a security threat for the Czech Republic. The survey also focused on expectations concerning the future of the personal life of citizens, the future of the Czech society and the future of the whole humankind.
Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households - June 2021
According to the June 2021 survey of CVVM, 17% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 39% view it as neither good nor bad, and 41% consider it to be bad.
15% of citizens think that the economic situation will improve in this year, 26% expect no change, and 53% await worsening of economic situation.
Czech Public on So-Called Istanbul Convention – June 2021
In June 2021 the Public Opinion Research Centre included two questions related to the discussed topic of the so-called Instabul Convention. Specifically, we investigated whether the respondents knew what this Convention was concerned and whether, in their opinion, the Czech Parliament should had or had not have approved the Istanbul Convention.
Citizens on Material Living Conditions of Their Households - June 2021
In the June 2021 survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined two questions related to evaluation of material living conditions of respondent's households, and to expectation of development of these conditions in this year.
A half (51%) of Czechs evaluates material living conditions of their households as good, 39% think they are neither good, nor bad and 10% consider them to be bad.
Happiness with the state of selected areas of public life – June 2021
In June 2021, citizens of the Czech Republic evaluated how satisfied they are with the situation in 30 selected areas of public life.
The best evaluated areas are the selection of goods and services (70% satisfied), healthcare and transport services (both 52%). The worst evaluated items are corruption (65% dissatisfied), political situation (59%), public finances (56%), and economic crime (55%).
Popularity of Party Representatives - June 2021
In June 2021 the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology the Czech Academy of Sciences investigated whether respondents trust to selected politicians. They were given a list with 20 names of top politicians who represent political parties present in the Chamber of Deputies.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in June 2021
In June 2021 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.
29% of Czechs trust the president, 28% trust the government.
Likely voter model in June 2021
In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in June 2021, we investigated how people trust political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release, there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.
The likely voter model indicates the anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies at the time of conducting the survey.
The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right, and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections, or they do not know who to vote for.
