Attitudes and Activities of Czech Society Regarding the Environment – July 2021
In July 2021, the Centre for Public Opinion Research asked questions regarding the environment. In the first question, respondents assessed how they think the Czech Republic cares about environmental protection. The second question identified an interest of respondents in information related to environmentally friendly behaviour. The third question gave the respondents space to express a subjective feeling of awareness of environmentally friendly behavior and the fourth question mapped the respondents' own household practices in the context of the environment.
Evaluation of environment in the Czech Republic – July 2021
In July CVVM survey was focused on environmental issues. Respondents were asked about how satisfied or dissatisfied they are with the state of environment in the Czech Republic and in their place of residence. Next citizens rated the size of their satisfaction with concrete areas of environment in their residence such as cleanness of air, surrounding nature and surface water. Respondents also evaluated traffic density, level of noise and the quality of drinking water.
We also examined whether people are interested about information about the state of the environment and whether they have sufficient information on the state of the environment.
Public Views on Fees and Some Other Measures in Healthcare - June 2021
In June 2021 Public Opinion Research Centre included a blok of questions connected to health care. One of the discussed topics was also health care measures in the Czech Republic. Questions focused mainly on charges for medication, doctor visit and stay in hospital. Next issue was connected to insurance and insurance company.
Public Opinion on Health Care System - June 2021
In June 2021 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions related to health care system in its regular survey. Citizens were asked about their overall satisfaction with health care system in the Czech Republic as well as their views on the various problematic areas of healthcare, such as the financing of public health, management of drugs and functioning of insurance companies.
Popularity of Top Politicians - July 2021
In July 2021 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 29 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in July 2021
In July 2021 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.
Likely voter model in July 2021
In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in July 2021, we investigated how people trust political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release, there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.
The likely voter model indicates the anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies at the time of conducting the survey.
The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right, and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections, or they do not know who to vote for.

Citizens on Economic Situation of Their Households – June 2021
The Public Opinion Research Centre in its June survey examined how Czech citizens perceive the financial situation of their households. They evaluated whether it is difficult to make ends meet with their earnings, but also talked about attitudinal feeling of poverty.
10% of citizens indicated their household to be rich, whilst 20% considered it to be poor. 70% of respondents regard their household as neither rich nor poor. Problems with current budget of their household were stated by 40% of respondents, on the other hand 58% said they have no problems with budget of the household.

Czech Public about Testing for COVID-19 and Vaccination against COVID-19 - June 2021
In June Public Opinion Research Centre focused on vaccination against COVID-19. Approximately one-third of respondents (35%) expressed willingness to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Almost a quarter (23 %) of respondents took a negative attitude towards vaccination against COVID-19. More than a third (35 %) has already received at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
Czech Citizens about Health Care in the Czech Republic – June 2021
In June 2021 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to health care. Questions focused mainly on satisfaction with health care in the Czech Republic, evaluation of the quality of the health care in the last year and the amount of information provided by the doctors. Respondents evaluated their own health condition and possibilities to decide the ways of their medical treatment. The last comparable research on this topic was conducted in December 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, which should be kept in mind when comparing results over time.
The New Coronavirus - Interest, Expectation and Attitudes towards Measures - June 2021
In its research, the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the coronavirus crisis and citizens' experiences with it. In June, more than three-quarters (77%) of Czech citizens over the age of 15 were interested in the situation regarding the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
In connection with the spread of the new type of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, approximately three-quarters of Czech citizens concerned about the health of their loved ones (74%) and deteriorating economic situation in the Czech Republic (73%).
