In January 2012 the Public Opinion Research Centre survey has focused on questions related to science. In this press release are presented citizens' views on the position of the Czech science in global context and on some of the conditions the Czech science has for its functioning.

This report presents the information about the interest of Czech citizens in the outputs of scientific research, about the evaluation of contributions the science offer contemporary society and about attitudes to the style of public presentation of Czech science.

January survey of CVVM included a new question on New Year's resolutions. The resulting findings shows not only thematization of New Year's resolutions, but also relationship between New Year's resolutions and sociodemographic characteristics of respondents.

In December 2011, Public Opinion Research Centre enquired about health care and health care system. We were interested in satisfaction of citizens with health care system in the Czech Republic and public opinion on issues in specific areas of the health care system. With health care is satisfied 34 % citizens, unsatisfied 35 %.

In the December survey Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

Center for Public Opinion Research in the November survey examined views on the distribution of work between the partners in the family. Research participants also commented on the selected indicators of success in life for men and women.
