Public Opinion on European Union Membership - April 2013
The report presents some results of April 2013 wave of the continuous survey, which concerns the EU membership. The topics presented here are the satisfaction with EU membership, the pride of people in context of being citizens of European Union and their evaluation of pros and cons of the membership.

Influence on political decision-making - March 2013
In March 2013 CVVM survey investigated Czech public's opinion on the extent to which various institutions and groups influence political decision-making.

Trust in the Institutions of the EU and in the OSN and the NATO - April 2013
April survey of CVVM asked questions concerning the trust of people in the institutions of the European Union. Besides the trust in the EU as a whole, citizens' trust in the European commission, the European Parliament, the chairman of the European Council (president of the EU) and the representative for the joint foreign policy (ministry of foreign affairs) have been included into the survey. Two questions also referred to the trust of people in the North Atlantic Alliance and the United Nations organisation.
Political culture - March 2013
Czech citizens are critical when talking about political culture of most of politically active people. The exception are members of Municipal Councils. In this case prevails positive evaluation (57%/34 %) . One of the worst evaluation got the political culture of members of Chamber of Deputy (12%/86 %).
According to about three quarters of Czech citizens (77 %) political arguments, problems and scandals are common and occur in other democracies too, although major part of the addressed respondents (81 %) expressed their opinion that these argumentations and scandals discredit us abroad. Significant part of Czech citizens (88 %) agreed that there is a need to inform public about the problems, argumentations and scandals, because the politicians need to be under control of public. Public opinion of political culture is also expressed in the opinion, that the political disputations and scandals serve only to settle one's account (this opinion is held by 70% of the respondents). More than half of the respondents (56%) think that the problems are exaggerated by journalists.

Citizens on Adoption of Euro - April 2013
According to the April survey of Public Opinion Research Centre, only 18% of Czech citizens approve the adoption of euro as legal tender in the Czech Republic, 77% oppose it.
Urgency of Some Problems in the View of Public Opinion - March 2013
In March of this year, respondents of the Public Opinion Research Centre evaluated the urgency of solving in some areas of public life.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in April 2013
In April 2013 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust the Chambers of Parliament, President, Government, Local and Regional Councils.
Opinion on Widespreadness and Level of Corruption Among Czech Public Officials and Institutions - March 2013
In March 2013, CVVM asked questions concerning the topic of corruption. Questions in the survey pursued the view on how widespread is taking of bribes among Czech public officials and the opinion on the level of corruption in different institutions and areas of public life.
Party Preferences and Voting Model in April 2013
In April survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.
Public opinion on performance of president Vaclav Klaus
In its regular survey in March 2013 the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the questions about the Vaclav Klaus' presidency. Most Czechs think president Klaus is good in taking care of dignity and respect of his office (64 %) and he fulfills his constitutional functions (60 %).
