Opinion on widespreadness and level of corruption among Czech public officials and institutions
In March 2012, CVVM asked questions concerning the topic of corruption. Questions in the survey regarded the opinion on how widespread is taking of bribes among Czech public officials and the opinion on the level of corruption in different institutions and areas of public life. Obtained values are compared with results measured in previous years.
Vaclav Havel in Eyes of Public in Four Central European Countries
In February 2012 CVVM investigated how citizens perceive the personality of the late former President Vaclav Havel. Under the umbrella of CEORG in February of this year some questions from the survey were also enquired among respondents in Poland, Hungary and the Slovak Republic.
Political culture - March 2012
Czech citizens are critical when talking about political culture of most of politically active people. The exception are members of Municipal Councils. In this case prevails positively evaluation (52/36 % . The worst evaluation got political culture of members of Chamber of Deputy (11/86 %).
According to major part of czech citizens (73 %) arguments, problems and scandals are common and occur in other democracies, although major part of addressed respondents (84 %) expressed their opinion that these argumentations and scandals discredit us abroad. Almost all respondents (91 %) agreed that there is need to inform public about the problems, argumentations and scandals, because czech politicians need to be under control of public. Citizen opinions of political culture in our country prove that three quarters of czech citizens think,that these political disputations and scandals, that occur in public - serve only to settle one's account. And a half of people do not agree with that it serves to settle the objective arguments.
Trust To Some Public Institutions - March 2012
As a part of March CVVM survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to Courts, Police, Army, Media, Labour Unions, Churches, Banks and NGOs. The press information covers also a longterm development of trust to these public institutions.

Popularity of Top Politicians
In March 2012 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 27 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of Parliament, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, leaders of political parties in Parliament and chief of Constitutional Court.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in March 2012
In March 2012 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.

In february 2012 CVVM investigated how people evaluate their possibilities to influence political decision-making and public affairs.
Party Preferences and Voting Model in March 2012
In March survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

As a part of February survey there were some questions focused on interest of Czech citizens in political events in the country as well as in the world and on involvement of Czech citizens in political and public life.
NATO in Public Opinion
In January 2012 the CVVM regular survey included a block of questions related to NATO and national defence. There was examined opinion on the current need for NATO as a military-political organization and how the existence and actions of NATO influences the safety of members, the relationships within and outside the organization, peace and stability and ability to address the threat of terrorism.
