Party Preferences and Voting Model in April 2014

In April survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in  elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

Importance of different kinds of elections in public view - March 2014

As a part of March survey, CVVM examined views of Czechs on importance of different kind of elections. Citizens in the survey attributed the most importance to municipal elections, presidential elections and elections to the Chamber od Deputies. As the least important was seen coming European Parliament election.

In the March survey Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

Foreigners´Contribution to the Czech Republic – March 2014

In March 2014 CVVM investigated Czech public´s view with regard to foreigners who live in the long term or permanently in the Czech republic. 60 % of Czechs see foreign citizens living in the Czech Republic as a problem, 32 % claim the opposite. But, when people should consider their neighbourhood, not the Czech Republic as a whole country, 53 % think foreign citizens are not a problem.

Czech Public's Attitudes to Foreigners – March 2014

In March 2014 CVVM investigated Czech public's views with regard to foreigners who live in the long term or permanently in the Czech Republic. Majority (63 %) claimed that  foreigners living in the Czech Republic should become conformed to Czech cultural habits as much as possible, another of informants (32 %) said that foreigners should adapt to czech cultural habits just in some aspects. And 4% said that foreigners should be allowed to live according to their habits.

Attitudes towards foreigners settlement in the Czech republic - March 2014

In March 2014 CVVM was examining attitudes of Czech public towards foreigner long-temr or permanently living in the Czech republic. Specifically, there were examined attitudes whether there are too many, appropriate amount, or too few foreigners living in our country, whether foreigners should have the right for the long-term residing in the country and whether the state should allow them to settle here permanently.

Popularity of Top Politicians - March 2013

In March 2014 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 27 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of Parliament, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, leaders of political parties in Parliament and chief of Constitutional Court.

Tolerance to Selected Groups of Population - March 2014

In March 2014 Public Opinion Research Centre focused on social distance among the majority population and different social groups. Social distance was measured by a specific question: people should pick from a list of 15 different groups those, which they would not like to have as neighbours.
