In the November survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre included issues related to social policy. It surveyed citizens' views on that how much the individual areas of social policy are secured. At the same time the block of questions included an item, in which citizens had to comment the social policy as a whole.

Public Opinion on Social Security System in the Czech Republic - November 2013

In the November investigation the Centre for Public Opinion Research included issues related to social policy. First, we examined the extent to which social security should be ensured by the state in the view of Czech citizens, what the level of social security is and whether the social benefits should be granted all the citizens, or just certain groups of society. Next, we asked how the government cares about citizens' social situation and how the citizens themselves take care about their social situation. The research also looked at the evaluation of the level of abusing of the social security system.

Taxation in View of Public Opinion - November 2013

According to November 2013 survey 13 % of citizens regard taxation on high-income earners as high, 25 % say it is adequate and 53 % think it is low.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in November 2013

In November 2013 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, President, Government, Local and Regional Councils.

According to the November survey of CVVM, 62% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as bad, 28% view it as neither good nor bad, and 8% consider it to be good.

Party Preferences and Voting Model in November 2013

In November survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour. Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in  elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

Important personalities, periods and events of the Czech history (+ infographics) - October 2013

Citizens´ attitudes related to the Czech history were surveyd by Center for Public Opinion Research in October. First, we asked who is regarded as the greatest Czech personality and also which of the selected historical periods is regarded as the greatest one. Similarly, in connection with the 20th century respondents named the three most important events since the end of World War II.

Interest in information and evaluation of beer in Czech public.

In September 2013 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004.
