In October survey Public Opinion Research Centre examined how Czech citizens see the financial situation of their households.

September survey of CVVM examined general political orientation of people and their views on why people join political parties.

According to the October survey of CVVM, 69% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as bad, 25% view it as neither good nor bad and 5% consider it to be good.

In October 2012 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, Government, President, Local and Regional Councils.

September's survey of CVVM comprised a question regarding the role of church in the society and a set of questions concerning the topic of church restitution. On the one hand, the presented press release contains information on to what extent citizens are interested in the problem of church restitution and to what extent they agree with the current proposal of property compensations toward churches. On the other hand, it analyses in detail, what is the public opinion on the range of these compensations and it also follows up, what attitudes citizens take toward different key aspects of church restitution, as they unfolded in the existing debate. It turned out that Czechs consider churches to be desirable most importantly for granting of spiritual support to people and for performing of charity. But only about one sixth of the public subscribes to the current proposal of church property compensations.

As a part of September CVVM survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to Courts, Police, Army, Media, Labour Unions, Churches, Banks and NGOs. The press information covers also a longterm development of trust to these public institutions. The main change seems to be a decrease of trust to Churches since the last survey in march 2012 from 29 % to 20 %.

In October survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

In September survey 59% of respondents expressed their opinion that everybody has a chance to get such education according to his or her abilities.

In September 2012, questions about education were included in the regular research "Our Society". One of the questions was focused on the peoples' interest in the state secondary school-leaving examination, attitude to the idea of state guaranteed examination on secondary schools as a general concept and views on the preparation and conduct of this year's state examination.
