Popularity of Top Politicians
In December 2009 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 28 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of Parliament, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, leaders of political parties in Parliament, ombudsman and chief of Constitutional Court.

In December survey CVVM focused on personal evaluation of ending year 2009 and expectations for 2010 from the perspective of Czech population.
Evaluation of the situation in some areas of public life in 2009
In December 2009 CVVM survey posed a few questions on basic satisfaction with the chosen areas of public life. People were most satisfied with supply of goods and services (75 % "satisfied") and culture (55 %). Dissatisfaction was related mainly to unemployment (80 %) and corruption (79 % "dissatisfied").
Evaluation of the past year, expectations for the coming year
Public Opinion Research Centre included a monthly research the end of year 2009 several balancing issues. Respondents should assess the past year, what their expectations for the next year, which impact had some major national events affect the image of Czech Republic abroad.
Czech Public Opinion on Government Spending on Social Policy
In November 2009, Public Opinion Research Centre enquired about spending on social policy. Czechs should express their view about government spending on unemployment, housing, health care, child allowances, retirement pensions, disability benefits, schools and education. Another question was focused on pensions reform.
Czech Public Opinion on Family Policy
In November 2009, Czech population was asked some questions about the family policy. First, there was a general question to what extent the government cares about families with small children. Second, people should say, which of the family policy instruments they appreciate. In fact, all instruments were supported, but most of the people agreed with flexible working time or part-time jobs for parents of small children, with tax cut for these people and the increasing number of kindergartens.
Party Preferences and Voting Model in December 2009
In December survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information : Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.
The Beer Consumption in the Czech Republic in 2009
In October 2009 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004. Some Aspects of Beer Choice of Czech Consumers in 2009
In October 2009 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004. Hierarchy of Aims in Life in Czech Population
November survey of CVVM asked a question related to hierarchy of aims in life. According to the results most preferred aims are related to family values and personal relations, which were represented by items like "to have steady partner" or "to have children".
