In April 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to accepting refugees from countries affected by military conflicts. Questions focused mainly on opinion towards accepting refugees from concrete regions (Ukraine, Middle East and North Africa), concern with the current situation around refugees and perception of the situation as a security threat.

In May 2018 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in May 2018, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

The likely voter model indicates anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

In the opinion poll carried out in April 2018 by the Public Opinion Research Centre, questions regarding the current situation in Ukraine were included. More specifically, the questionnaire asked surveyors about their concerns for the situation in Ukraine, and their perception of it as a security threat to the Czech Republic, Europe, and the World.

The April survey of Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the theme of social order and social cohesion of the Czech society.

In April survey the Public Opinion Research Center examined how the inhabitants of the Czech Republic assess the political culture of public officials and politicians: members of the governments, deputies, senators, representatives of regional and local self-governments and politicians from current parliamentary political parties.

April 2018 survey focused on attitudes of Czechs to some representatives in international politics. Respondents were asked to express their confidence or non-confidence to some main figures of international policy and persons involved in recent important events as well as supreme representatives of Central European countries.

In April 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to decision making of politicians. Czech public evaluated the level of influence of chosen areas and institutions on decisions of Czech politicians.

In April 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to corruption. Respondents commented on extend of corruption in the Czech Republic and evaluated the level of corruption according to specific institutions and officers.
