In December 2017 within the regular survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre (CVVM) questioned respondents about their confidence in some institutions including the Ombudsman, the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Audit Office, the Czech Statistical Office, the Czech National Bank, and the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Popularity of Top Politicians - February 2018

In February 2018 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 30 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, the governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.

Evaluation of Andrej Babis' Cabinet - February 2018

In February survey, the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on evaluation of Andrej Babis' government. 43% of Czechs are satisfied with the person of Prime Minister, 48% are dissatisfied, 41% are satisfied with government's performance and 44% are not. Government's program 43% of Czechs evaluate positively, 34% hold the opposite stance. Communication with public is seen positively by 42% of Czechs, 45% evaluate it negatively. Personal composition of Babis' government (34% satisfied / 48% dissatisfied) is area in which we found predominantly critical evaluation of public.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in February 2018

In February 2018 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

Inflation And Real Income Of Households In View Of Public - January 2018

38% of people believe that for the income of their household they can buy or pay less than a year ago, 48% believe that the real income of their households is about the same as a year before, and 12% of respondents said that their real income during the last year has increased.

Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households - January 2018

According to the January survey of CVVM, 44% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 39% view it as neither good nor bad, and 15% consider it to be bad.

Likely voter model in February 2018

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in February 2018, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

The likely voter model indicates anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

Public Opinion on Acceptability of Loans and Debts - January 2018

In January 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre carried out a survey about debts and loans. In this press release are published attitudes of Czech citizens to debts of common people. In this text there are also published attitudes of Czechs to individual debts, e.g. acceptability of loans for real estate, education, consumption, car, holidays or for starting a business. Another question was focused on importance of financial resources for unexpected expenses and difficulties with the repayment of debts.
