In January 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre carried out a survey about NATO. Within the project were examined satisfaction with membership in NATO.

In January 2018 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR investigated whether respondents trust to selected politicians. They were given a list with 18 names of top politicians who represent political parties present in the Chamber of Deputies.

In January 2018, the Public Opinion Research Centre investigated views on the problem of indebtment. We surveyed the opinion on the level of indebtment among the Czech citizens and on the level of indebtment of the Czech state. With regard to these two fields of indebtment, we also asked questions about how serious a problem the current level of indebtment poses to the Czech people.

In January 2018 Public Opinion Resear Centre carried out a survey about the development of situation in selected areas of public life during the year 2017.

In January 2018 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

In September 2017 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004. This press release maps basic results of questions about the choice of beer, preference of favourite brands and willingness to tray unfamiliar ones and also about the interest in information concerning beer.

In September 2017 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR replicated some of the questions about beer, which constitute a part of research project Pubs and Beer in Czech Society that is under way since 2004. This press release maps basic trends about the share of consumers among Czech citizens and about both amount and frequency of beer consumption from 2004 to 2017. The status of non-alcoholic beer is mentioned as well.

In a survey conducted by Public Opinion Research Centre in January 2018, we investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: the likely voter model and the party preferences.

The likely voter model indicates anticipated result of hypothetical elections to the Chamber of Deputies in the time of conducting the survey.

The party preferences give us information about public sympathy for political parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not know who to vote for.

In September 2017 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR surveyed questions about the ban of smoking in gastronomical facilities. This press release maps basic results about the attitudes to the ban before the introduction of the act in June 2017 and three months after, both in the context of the general public and within groups of people which attend different kinds of restaurants. The press release brings also the information about arguments, which Czech citizens use for giving reasons to their agreement and disagreement with the introduction of the act.

In December survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre, citizens answered questions concerning their fears, their sense of security and their satisfaction with the activities of the police.
