According to the April survey of CVVM, 31% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 40% view it as neither good nor bad, and 27% consider it to be bad.

In April 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to confidence in European Union and international institutions. Questions focused mainly on trust in European Union in general and its concrete authorities. In connection to international institutions respondents evaluated their trust in United Nations and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

In April 2016 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

In March 2016 the Public Opinion Research Centre included into its regular survey a few questions concerning so-called Islamic State and development in Ukraine.

In March 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to accepting refugees from countries affected by military conflicts. Questions focused mainly on opinion towards accepting refugees from concrete regions (Ukraine, Middle East and North Africa), concern with the current situation around refugees and perception of the situation as a security threat. In April survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.

In March 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre investigated attitudes of Czech public to seventeen national groups that are living in the Czech Republic in significant number. The most positive relation was observed to Czechs, Slovaks, and Poles, the worst relation have Czechs to Arabs and Roma people.

In March survey the Public Opinion Research Center examined how the inhabitants of the Czech Republic assess the political culture of public officials and politicians: members of the governments, deputies, senators, representatives of regional and local self-governments and politicians from current parliamentary political parties.

March survey has dealt with a topic of employment of foreigners in Czech Republic. 34 % of Czechs think it is right to employ foreigners, 57 % express the opposite view. Support to employment of foreigners grows with degree of completed education and also with improving evaluation of living standard of respondent's household.

Research survey of CVVM focused on public attitudes to long-term or permanently residing foreigners in the Czech Republic. The first question asked whether foreigners coming in our country in last few years cause problems or not.
