Citizens on Economic Situation of the Czech Republic and Living Standard of Their Households – April 2016

According to the April survey of CVVM, 31% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 40% view it as neither good nor bad, and 27% consider it to be bad.

Confidence in European and International Institutions - April 2016

In April 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to confidence in European Union and international institutions. Questions focused mainly on trust in European Union in general and its concrete authorities. In connection to international institutions respondents evaluated their trust in United Nations and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in April 2016

In April 2016 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.

Attitude of Czech Public to Accepting of Refugees in March 2016

In March 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to accepting refugees from countries affected by military conflicts. Questions focused mainly on opinion towards accepting refugees from concrete regions (Ukraine, Middle East and North Africa), concern with the current situation around refugees and perception of the situation as a security threat. Relation to Different National Groups Living in the Czech Republic - March 2016

In March 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre investigated attitudes of Czech public to seventeen national groups that are living in the Czech Republic in significant number. The most positive relation was observed to Czechs, Slovaks, and Poles, the worst relation have Czechs to Arabs and Roma people.

Attitudes of Czech Public Towards Employment of Foreigners - March 2016

March survey has dealt with a topic of employment of foreigners in Czech Republic. 34 % of Czechs think it is right to employ foreigners, 57 % express the opposite view. Support to employment of foreigners grows with degree of completed education and also with improving evaluation of living standard of respondent's household.
