In February of this year, respondents of the Public Opinion Research Centre evaluated the urgency of solving in some areas of public life.

In February 2015 Public Opinion Research Centre focused on participation of czech citizens in political organizations. To be specific, survey was mainly oriented on with which organisations citizens participate, how and where do they actively cooperate on public political activities. Furthermore we investigated in which politics are they interested in – generally, in the Czech Republic, European Union or in world.

In March 2015 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, President, Government, Local and Regional Councils.

In March survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in  elections or they do not knot who to vote for.

In February 2015 Public Opinion Research Centre focused on social distance among the majority population and different social groups. Social distance was measured by a specific question: people should pick from a list of 15 different groups those, which they would not like to have as neighbours.

In February 2015 the Public Opinion Research Centre included into its regular survey a few questions concerning so-called Islamic State.

In February 2015 Public Opinion Research Centre investigated, whether people believe, that politicians are interested in citizens opinions and whether, according to Czech public, people in the Czech republic have opportunities to influence public affairs. In the matter of interest of politicians about public opinions sceptical view prevails.

Part of the February survey Public Opinion Research Centre were several questions concerning respondents' opinions on the functioning of democracy in the Czech Republic, the general attitudes towards democracy and respect for human rights in our country. Satisfaction with the way democracy works in the Czech Republic expressed majority of respondents (55%).

In February survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined whether the Czech public feels safely in the country and in the place of residence, and whether Czech citizens see some selected groups and phenomena as a great, small or no threat to the peace and security in the Czech Republic.
