In December survey (2018) the Public Opinion Research Centre included two questions related to the currently discussed topic of the so-called Instabul Convention. Specifically, we investigated whether the respondents knew what this Convention was concerned and whether, in their opinion, the Czech Parliament should had or had not have approved the Istanbul Convention.

In November 2018 as a part of Public Opinion Research Centre's survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to some social institutions.

In the June survey the Public Opinion Research Centre gave all respondents a question that at eleven-point scale measures the left-right political orientation: "In politics, people sometimes talk about right and left. Where would you place yourself ranked on this scale?"

In April 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to corruption. Respondents commented on extend of corruption in the Czech Republic and evaluated the level of corruption according to specific institutions and officers.

In March 2018 as a part of Public Opinion Research Centre's survey there was a question investigating citizens' trust to some social institutions.

In February of this year, respondents of the Public Opinion Research Centre evaluated the urgency of solving in some areas of public life. The most urgent problems are supposed to be corruption and immigration.

In October 2017 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to decision making process based on ordinary people or experts. Next questions focused on confidence to specific groups of people who comment on public issues in the Czech Republic.

Next year, it will be 25 years since the split of Czechoslovakia into two independent republics. On the occasion of this anniversary, Public Opinion Research Centre and Institute for Public Affairs in Bratislava in cooperation with Focus agency investigated public opinion regarding the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the creation of the independent states.
