Evaluation of European Integration - April 2014
Part of Aprils’ survey of CVVM was the topic of European integration. Two batteries of questions were included into the survey. One focused on the view, whether the values of democracy, equality, cooperation, tolerance, justice and solidarity are applied in the European Union. The second one concerned the opinion on usefulness or harmfulness of European integration in the areas of economy, politics, culture, defence and ecology. Apart from these two batteries we also asked questions, whether respondents believe that integration of the European Union is in the interest of the Czech Republic and in their own personal interest.

Public Opinion on European Union Membership - April 2014
The report presents some results of April 2014 wave of the continuous survey, which concerns the EU membership. The topics presented here are the satisfaction with EU membership, the pride of people in context of being citizens of European Union and their evaluation of pros and cons of the membership. The report contains also comparison of development of Czech public attitudes towards EU membership.

Opinons of the Czech public toward the events on Ukraine - April 2014
According to the April survey of the Public Opinion Research Centre, 52 % of Czech citizens are interested in current events in Ukraine.Respondents were also asked about their evaluation of the current activities of various groups in the conflict,about active participation of international community in solving the situation and trust toward selected Ukrainian politicians.The survey was conducted during the escalation of the cricis in eastern regions.

Citizens on the European Parliament Elections - April 2014
In the April survey the Public Opinion Research Centre has focused on the forthcoming elections to the European Parliament.
Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation in April 2014
In April 2014 within the regular survey CVVM SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i., questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to Chambers of Parliament, President, Government, Local and Regional Councils.
Party Preferences and Voting Model in April 2014
In April survey CVVM investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour.
Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for.
Importance of different kinds of elections in public view - March 2014
As a part of March survey, CVVM examined views of Czechs on importance of different kind of elections. Citizens in the survey attributed the most importance to municipal elections, presidential elections and elections to the Chamber od Deputies. As the least important was seen coming European Parliament election.

Contentment with Life - March 2014
In the March survey Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"
Foreigners´Contribution to the Czech Republic – March 2014
In March 2014 CVVM investigated Czech public´s view with regard to foreigners who live in the long term or permanently in the Czech republic. 60 % of Czechs see foreign citizens living in the Czech Republic as a problem, 32 % claim the opposite. But, when people should consider their neighbourhood, not the Czech Republic as a whole country, 53 % think foreign citizens are not a problem.

Czech Public's Attitudes to Foreigners – March 2014
In March 2014 CVVM investigated Czech public's views with regard to foreigners who live in the long term or permanently in the Czech Republic. Majority (63 %) claimed that foreigners living in the Czech Republic should become conformed to Czech cultural habits as much as possible, another of informants (32 %) said that foreigners should adapt to czech cultural habits just in some aspects. And 4% said that foreigners should be allowed to live according to their habits.

Attitudes towards foreigners settlement in the Czech republic - March 2014
In March 2014 CVVM was examining attitudes of Czech public towards foreigner long-temr or permanently living in the Czech republic. Specifically, there were examined attitudes whether there are too many, appropriate amount, or too few foreigners living in our country, whether foreigners should have the right for the long-term residing in the country and whether the state should allow them to settle here permanently.
